RMLNLU Lucknow, officially known as Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU), is one of India’s leading National Law Universities (NLUs). Located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, the university was established under the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University Act, 2005 (U.P. Act No. 28 of 2005). The Act came into force on 4 January 2006, and the university became operational in July 2006.

RMLNLU is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956, and its law degrees are approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
