Senior Public Prosecutor (Sr. PP)
The National Investigation Agency has announced 07 vacancies for the post of Senior Public Prosecutor. These positions are offered on deputation basis across India with a pay scale under Level 11 (₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700). The final number of vacancies may vary depending on administrative requirements.
Public Prosecutor (PP)
A total of 14 vacancies have been notified for the post of Public Prosecutor. These posts are also on deputation basis and fall under Pay Level 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500). Selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India depending on organizational needs.

The recruitment drive includes a combined total of 21 posts, comprising both Senior Public Prosecutor and Public Prosecutor positions. Candidates must note that vacancies are subject to change based on actual requirements at the time of final selection.
Eligibility Criteria
01. Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university
02. Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 56 years (as on closing date of application)
- Applicable for deputation posts as per Government of India norms
03. Experience requirements For Senior Public Prosecutor:
- Minimum 8 years experience in prosecution of criminal cases
- Must be holding analogous post OR
- Minimum 5 years service in Pay Level 10 (or equivalent)
04. Experience requirements For Public Prosecutor:
- Minimum 5 years experience in prosecution of criminal cases
- Must be holding analogous post OR
- Minimum 2 years service in relevant grade
Experience must be in criminal law prosecution and government legal services
