Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

To apply for the NALSA Internship Programme 2026, candidates must:

  1. Be pursuing a Three-Year LL.B. Course
    OR
  2. Be pursuing a Five-Year Integrated Law Course
    from a recognised University/College/Institution.

Preference Criteria

Preference will be given to:

  1. Students in the 2nd or 3rd year of the Three-Year LL.B. Course
  2. Students in the 4th or 5th year of the Five-Year Integrated Law Course.

Internship Details

Duration

  1. Internship duration is One Month (Four Weeks)
  2. Internship begins from the 1st day of the month.

Mode of Internship

  1. Internship will be conducted in Physical/Offline Mode.

Attendance Requirement

  1. Minimum 90% attendance is mandatory for receiving the internship certificate.

Internship Exposure & Work

Selected interns may receive exposure to:

  1. Legal Aid Mechanisms
  2. Lok Adalats
  3. Legal Awareness Programmes
  4. ADR & Mediation Processes
  5. Research and Documentation Work
  6. Interaction with Legal Services Institutions.

Stipend

  1. No stipend/remuneration shall be paid during the internship.
  2. No TA/DA or accommodation facilities will be provided.

Certificate

  1. Internship Certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the programme.
